What an awesome tool! www.namebase.org has a free web database that analyzes text, scanning for names, and stores a database of how the names are related. What a great use of the web.

(example: relationships to biosphere)

It would be really cool to do something like that for word associations. We could just ask people to give two or three words that they think of when given a particular word, then build a web. Now that would make a great search directory. (This isn't the world wide hierarchy, you know)..
